ELIZABETHTOWN — The annual East Bladen Holiday Classic for varsity girls will be held Wednesday, Dec. 20, and Thursday, Dec. 21, at East Bladen High.

Designed more like a round-robin than a classic tournament, the four participating teams will play each day. Those teams include former Four County Conference foe Wallace-Rose Hill, long-ago conference foe North Brunswick, current Three Rivers Conference foe West Bladen and the host Lady Eagles.

“It should be competitive for all teams,” said East Bladen coach Patty Evers. “Wallace is new to our tourney this year because of trying to keep it at non-conference teams.

“All four teams have played close games with some strong teams this year and it looks to be a good learning experience for all of us,” she added.
