WRH whips West, 10-3

TEACHEY –Wallace-Rose Hill erupted for seven runs in the second inning Saturday en route to a 10-3 non-conference win over visiting West Bladen.

The Knights took a 1-0 lead in the first inning when an error and passed ball set up Logan West’s RBI single. But the Bulldogs answered with a run in the home half to knot the game at 1-1.

In the second, Wallace-Rose Hill used five walks, two hit batters, two hits and an untimely error to manufacture seven runs and take an 8-1 advantage. The Bulldogs added a run in the third and another in the fifth to open a 10-1 lead.

West Bladen scored its final two runs in the sixth on RBI walks to Braylon Williamson and Kaleb Heup.
