LAURINBURG — East Bladen ran its season winning streak to 13 straight on Friday with a 3-1 non-conference win over Class 4-A Scotland County.

The Lady Scots took a 1-0 lead into halftime, but visiting East Bladen rallied for a trio of goals in the second half to pull out the win.

Early in the second half, Hannah Devane booted home a goal for the Lady Eagles to knot the match at 1-1.

Midway through the second half, Katie Evans took a pass from Devane and sent a shot to the back of the net, giving East Bladen a 2-1 advantage.

Moments later, Kenia Medina beat a pair of defenders and rocketed a shot home for a 3-1 Lady Eagles lead.

On defense, East Bladen had 154 steals — led by Sara Gargala with 20, Cybil Campbell and Medina each with 17; Devane with 16; Gracyn Martin with 15; Isabella Smith and Evans each with 13; Sarah Johnson with 12; and Ashton Magby with 11.

In the nets, Ting Lin was credited with five saves, while East Bladen outshot Scotland County by a 17-9 margin.

The Lady Eagles will travel to face West Columbus on Tuesday at 5 p.m. in a conference match.
