Stallions dump West Bladen, 13-2

TABOR CITY — South Columbus pounded out 13 hits while scattering just four West Bladen hits on Tuesday en route to a 13-2 mercy-rule win over the visiting Knights.

The loss dropped West Bladen to 3-18 overall, 3-14 in the conference.

The Stallions plated three runs in the first, added a run in the second and exploded for nine runs in the third inning to put the game away.

West Bladen scored once in the first and added a run in the fifth.

The Knights will travel cross-county to face East Bladen in the Three Rivers Conference regular-season finale on Friday at 7 p.m.
