DUNN — The Lady Knights of West Bladen went on the road Thursday and took a Four County Conference loss against Midway in straight sets.
Morgan Schumacher led the Lady Knights with 10 service winners with two aces, five kills and a block. Teammate Logan Autry contributed 17 assists along with three kills and two aces.
Lorna Smith contributed six kills and Kathryn Schultz added two kills and two blocks for the Lady Knights. Laikyn Pait recorded three aces and three kills, and Kassidy Anderson had five kills.
“The girls played extremely well,” said West Bladen coach Gaye Davis.
The loss drops the lady Knights to 7-11 overall and 3-9 in conference, while Midway improved to 14-10, 10-3.
