WHITEVILLE — West Bladen and East Bladen finished third and fourth, respectively, in Monday’s Three Rivers Conference golf match at Land O Lakes Golf Course.

The Knights shot a 401 for their lowest four individuals and East Bladen came in at 432.

South Columbus shot a front-running 353. West Columbus was second at 388.

Red Springs finished fifth at 434, followed by host Whiteville at 443 and St. Pauls at 465. Fairmont and South Robeson did not have enough players for team scores.

Chad Garner shot a 91 to lead the Knights. Devin Smith shot 98, Wyatt Bordeaux 103 and John Brust 109.

The Eagles were paced by Nick Norris with a 98. Jason Baxter and Alex Avellaende each shot 109, and Chance Hester 116.

The Stallions’ Jonathan Williams was medalist among the 38-player field, shooting 43-41–84. Caleb Click shot 86, Landon Rising 88 and Matt Ward 95 for the victors.

Eleven players broke 100. West Columbus’ Hinson Haynes was the only other player to break 90, shooting an 88.
