ROWLAND — East Bladen stranded eight runners, failing to capitalize on 11 hits and eight walks in falling 15-5 at South Robeson in high school softball Friday.

The Lady Eagles lost their fifth straight, tumbling to 2-7 overall. East Bladen is 2-5 in the Three Rivers Conference.

The guests rallied within 11-6 in the fifth inning, sparked by Kayleigh Raynor’s two-run single.

Raynor, Alyssa Futrell, Mariah Smith and Jordan Kinlaw each rapped two hits. Raynor drove in three runs, and Abbie Cross scored a pair.
