TABOR CITY — West Bladen head coach Pam Stephens said her team ran into one of the best in the Three Rivers Conference on Friday.
The Lady Knights lost 15-0 at South Columbus, snapping a four-game winning streak in which they had outscored opponents 75-16. West Bladen dropped to 4-2 in the league and 5-2 overall.
Kyla Reed had the only hits for the guests. She singled and stole second and third in the first inning, but that was the lone scoring threat.
South Columbus, now 5-1 in the league and overall, responded with three in the first and four in the second. Seven tallies in the fourth run-ruled the outcome.
