ELIZABETHTOWN — The District 9 tournaments for Dixie Youth Baseball’s minor and major leagues will be hosted by Elizabethtown Friday through Wednesday.
Games will be played at Leinwand Park. Admission is $5 for ages 13 and up, and free for 12-and-under.
The opening games for the hosts are Friday at 8 p.m. for the Elizabethtown minors against West Robeson National, and Saturday at 1 p.m. for the Elizabethtown majors against West Robeson American.
The top two teams in the minors advance to the state tournament in Dunn, in Harnett County.
The top two teams in the majors advance to the state tournament in Stanley, in Gaston County.
