ELIZABETHTOWN — Challenged by an early-season schedule, East Bladen pulled even at .500 in boys high school soccer Monday night with a 1-0 victory over visiting South Columbus.

The Eagles of ninth-year head coach Jay Raynor played to a scoreless draw in the first half before getting the game-winner in the second period.

East Bladen has won three straight to improve to 3-3-1. The Eagles are 2-0 in the Three Rivers Conference with a road date at East Columbus on Wednesday.
