ELIZABETHTOWN — East Bladen raced ahead in the first half on Friday, then hung on late for a 21-19 victory over South Columbus in girls junior varsity high school basketball.
The Lady Eagles got 10 points from Ronkira Lennon and four each by Brianna Phillips and Lavada Jackson. They led 10-2 after a quarter, and 13-3 at intermission.
East Bladen is 2-1 overall and 1-1 in the Three Rivers Conference.
