RED SPRINGS — Two nights after a 42-point victory, West Bladen struggled on the road in the Three Rivers Conference.

The Knights were defeated 70-43 by Red Springs on Friday night. West Bladen trailed 28-22 at intermission and by 18 entering the fourth quarter.

The guests departed 2-2 overall and winless in the league. The Red Devils are 2-0 in the Three Rivers and 2-3 overall.

Senior Tyre Boykin scored 21 points, his third time hitting 20 or more this season. Sophomore Shy’ron Adams added seven points.

Four players scored in double figures for Red Springs. Jordan Ferguson scored 15, Corell Love 15, Keyante Graham 13 and Gary Locklear 11.

West Bladen hosts 1-A East Columbus on Tuesday. The Gators have five wins, but are 0-2 in the Three Rivers.
