ELIZABETHTOWN — The Elizabethtown-White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking sponsors for its annual Sunset Jams concert series at White Lake.

“Sponsorships are a great opportunity for any business to be promoted at each event,” said Dawn Maynard, executive director of the Chamber. “The concerts have become the largest event in the community, and sponsorships like this are important to it and to the businesses.”

Available sponsorships include:

— Gold, $1,000-plus: Name or logo on all billboards and ads, on radio, on sponsor board, and at concert; vendor space

— Silver, $500: Name on sponsor board, at concert, and in radio ads; vendor space

— Bronze, $250: Name on sponsor board and at concert; vendor space

Thus far, multiple organizations are on board with the series. As of May 29, Gold Sponsors include Southeastern Health, RA Jeffreys Distributors, the Chamber, the Town of White Lake, Goldston’s Beach, Camp Clearwater, and Smithfield.

The concerts in the Sunset Jams series are held the third Thursday of each summer month from 6 to 9 p.m. at Goldston’s Beach at White Lake.

Performing this year will be Imitations (June 20), Big Time Party Band (July 19) and Fantastic Shakers (August 16). While the Imitations and the Big Time Party Band will be new to Bladen County, the Fantastic Shakers have made multiple trips to the Mother County, including the Summer Sounds Concert Series in Elizabethtown in 2015 and the Beast Fest in Bladenboro in 2017.

The Fantastic Shakers are a North Carolina Music Hall of Fame inductee, added to the registry in 2009 following decades of beach music success.

All three groups play dance music, including familiar tunes from diverse genres that include beach music, Motown, country, pop, oldies, and classic rock and roll.

The Chamber of Commerce plans two rounds of performances each year — the Summer Sounds Concert Series in Elizabethtown and the Sunset Jams Concert Series in White Lake.

“Sunset Jams and Summer Sounds are two different concert series,” said Maynard. “We hope you will consider sponsoring both.”
