BLADENBORO — West Bladen High School’s homecoming Friday night celebrated a 36-33 football win over West Columbus and the crowning of the new queen, Katelyn Willoughby.
Willoughby, the daughter of Keith and Kimberly Willoughby, was chosen by classmates from among the senior homecoming court of Jordan Benson, daughter of Russell and Tina Benson; Alara Cashwell, daughter of Michael and Shannon Cashwell; Kasee Singletary, daughter of Barisce and Bridgette Singletary; and Amyia Williams, daughter of Alecia Baldwin and the late 1st Sgt. Craig Williams.
Tyre Boykin was named homecoming king at a Thursday afternoon pep rally.
Conner Brisson, last year’s homecoming queen, placed the tiara upon Willoughby.
