Here is the Bladen County sports schedule for April 13-18. Schedule is subject to change.

The team of Jackson Henderson, Peyton Tatum, Mitchell Henderson, Jerry Padrick and Phillip Galloway teamed to shoot 9 under par Thursday, April 9 to win the weekly Thundering Herd tournament at Vineyard Golf at White Lake.

SHALLOTTE — The East Bladen baseball team placed fourth and the softball team finished eighth following Wednesday’s play in the Beach Diamond Invitational at West Brunswick High School.

Bladen County Recreation Department’s Blastball program is for ages 3 through 5 and played on Tuesdays and Thursdays at County Park.

HOPE MILLS — Chase Bryan’s single drove home Tyler Lewis with the deciding run in the seventh inning Tuesday night, lifting West Bladen to a 5-4 win against Cape Fear in the championship game of the Randy Ledford Memorial Easter baseball tournament.

HOPE MILLS — West Bladen scored five runs in the sixth inning and beat South View 9-5 on Monday night in the semifinals of the Randy Ledford Memorial Easter tournament.

TAR HEEL — Noah Ray, Vance Rowland and Eli Dicicco combined for 10 hits, scored 11 times and had six runs batted in and five pitchers combined for a no-hitter Thursday as Emereau defeated Tar Heel 21-2 in a middle school baseball game.

FAIRMONT — Allison Hickman had three hits and scored three runs, Addison Wilcox drove in three runs and Maycee Kinlaw pitched the final 5.1 innings Wednesday as West Bladen outscored Fairmont 11-8 in a Southeastern Conference softball game.

Gabby Rebollar scored twice and assisted on four goals Tuesday night as East Bladen shut out East Columbus 9-0 in a Carolina Conference girls’ soccer match in Elizabethtown.

BLADENBORO — J.T. Hepler and Hunter Hester each belted two-run doubles as part of an eight-run third inning Monday night as West Bladen shut out Fairmont 11-0 in a Southeastern Conference high school baseball game.
