RALEIGH — The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles has made a change with its myNCDMV platform.

A release says online driver license services have moved into the myNCDMV section of the site. The change was effective Sunday. Drivers can renew licenses through the application where vehicle owners go to renew their registration and pay their property tax online.

This allows drivers to skip visiting the local license office for renewing their license, ordering a duplicate license or updating their address, the release says. Also, the myNCDMV platform allows customers to complete multiple transactions at once even if they vary between vehicle and driver services.

The following are transactions that can be completed at myNCDMV:

• Renew driver license (for every other renewal period).

• Renew vehicle registration.

• Pay limited registration taxes.

• Order duplicate registration/driver license.

• Update registration/driver license address.

• Order special/personalized plates.

To reach myNCDMV, go online to ncdot.gov or download the app on an iOS or Android device.
