ELIZABETHTOWN — The second annual Grape Escape bicycle ride is Sept. 7, hosted by the town of Elizabethtown.
The ride takes a scenic route in the county and ends at the Cape Fear Vineyard & Winery. One of the stops along the way will be at Lu Mil Vineyard.
The ride starts at 9 a.m. and goes until the last rider has reached the final destination.
There are two routes, one of 30 miles and another of 60 miles. Registration fee for each is $45 and includes a T-shirt and goodie bag. When the ride concludes, a meal voucher will be available and entertainment will be on site.
