Fifty years ago this week, these ads and this story ran in the Bladen Journal. Before we reported everything, including the mundane items of the day on the internet, they did it in the newspaper. Those who laugh at the old papers of the the day need to go an examine some of the ridiculous posts that are up for all the world to see.
