East Bladen nipped 11-10 by St. Pauls

ELIZABETHTOWN — East Bladen struggled at the plate most of the way and dropped an 11-10 decision to visiting St. Pauls on Friday in high school softball.

The Lady Eagles trailed 7-2 entering the bottom of the third, but clawed back within 7-5 entering the seventh. The guests scored five in the seventh, and East Bladen rallied for five in the bottom of the inning, leaving the tying run in scoring position.

Senior Erica McKoy was 3-for-4 and drove in four runs for East Bladen, rapping a pair of run-scoring doubles.

Kayleigh Raynor scored four times for the Lady Eagles. Johanna Parker and Mariah Smith each drove in two runs.

In the circle, Raynor struck out 11.
