TAR HEEL — The world’s largest pork production facility needs workers, and a job fair is scheduled Saturday.
The NCWorks Career Center of Bladen County, 401 Mercer Mill Road in Elizabethtown, will be the host site for the event from 8 a.m. to noon. New hires and re-hires are welcome to apply. This is for the Tar Heel Division of Smithfield Foods in general production.
Completion of an online application can be done at smithfieldfoods.com/careers. Prospective employees should have the application confirmation page available when attending the job fair.
