BLADEN COMMISSIONER
Michael Cogdell is seeking reelection as one of five candidates for three countywide at-large seats on the Bladen County Board of Commissioners.
The term is for four years. Cogdell is a Democrat.
Cogdell, 67, is a retired educator and a retired business owner.
He won election to the board in 2012 and was reelected in 2016. Prior to that, he was elected and served six years on the Bladen County Board of Education.
“I work to dedicate my time to fulfill the wishes of my constituency,” Cogdell said.
Asked about the major issues he is campaigning on, or things most important going forward, he said, “How to enrich the economic disparities in Bladen County.”
