Saul - Our Pet of the Week

BLADEN COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER

BLADEN COUNTY –

Saul, a charming blue tick hound mix, is our Pet of the Week. Found roaming the streets of Bladen County and in the middle of a busy highway, Saul was rescued by our dedicated animal service team who were responding to another call. They swiftly and safely brought him to our facility, where he received a thorough checkup, including vaccinations, deworming and flea treatment.

Though we don’t know much about Saul’s past, he arrived in good health and has shown a grateful and gentle demeanor. At around 1 year old, he’s a bit shy with new people but thrives with the care and attention from our staff and volunteers. Saul gets along well with other dogs and is in need of a loving, patient home where he can flourish.

Saul has been with us since Aug. 7 and, while he enjoys the company of our team, he’s eagerly waiting for a family of his own. If you have room in your heart and home, we invite you to meet Saul Monday through Friday, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. His adoption fee is $55, which covers his first and second parvo/distemper vaccinations, rabies vaccination, deworming, flea treatment, a free physical exam, and a discounted neuter at Elizabethtown Veterinary Hospital.

Come meet Saul and see if he’s the perfect addition to your family. He’s excited to find a loving home and make you fall in love!
