DUNN – Brianna Carranza Toledo and Hannah Hester combined to keep Midway out of the nets Tuesday and Brookee Singletary scored the match’s lone goal to lead visiting West Bladen to a 1-0 SAC-7 victory.
The win improved the Lady Knights to 6-2 overall and 6-2 in the conference.
After a scoreless first half, Singletary found the back of the net with a shot early in the second half. From there, West Bladen’s defense held off any Midway threats.
West Bladen took seven shots on goal, while Toledo made two saves and Hester recorded three saves.
The Lady Knights were scheduled to host the Lady Raiders on Thursday in a return conference matchup.
