BLADENBORO — The West Bladen Lady Knights swept the Fairmont Golden Tornadoes for a 3-0 victory on Tuesday evening in a SAC 6 match-up. West Bladen took the first set comfortably for a 25-16 win, then followed it up with a 25-21 win in a tight set, and they killed the game off with a 25-17 win in the final set of the night.
The Lady Knights were led by senior Trinity Meares with 20 attacks, 10 service points, and she smashed three kills. Senior Keiera Lewis was also active in front of the net with 21 attacks, five kills, three service points and a block. Freshman Greer Pope pulled the strings with 15 assists to her name to go along with nine service points, five attacks, and two kills.
West Bladen moves to 2-2 in conference play as they stay in third place in the SAC 6 standings. They’ll travel away to Red Springs to take on the Lady Red Devils in yet another conference clash this Thursday.
